Ramayan: There is also a secret of a straw in the Ramayana, which is not known to everyone. Know the story behind it here.
In Ramayan, in Ravana's captivity, in the garden of Lanka, under which Sita Mata sits, she keeps a straw of grass in her hand. Whenever Ravana comes there, Sita picks up the straw. Many people will not know the real reason for this but we are telling you the reason for this. You too read this and know what is the secret of the straw of grass.
When Ravana kidnapped Mother Sita and took her to Lanka, then in Lanka, Sita ji sat under the banyan tree and started contemplating. Ravana used to threaten Mother Sita ji again and again, but Mother Sita did not say anything. Even Ravana tried to confuse Mother Sita ji by coming in the disguise of Shri Ram ji but still did not succeed. When Ravana got tired and went to his bedroom, Mandodari said to him that you had disguised as Rama, then what happened? Ravana said - When I went in front of Sita taking the form of Ram, I could not see Sita. Ravana had put all his strength, but the mother of the world, whom no one could understand till date, how could Ravana even understand her! Ravana came once again and said, I communicate with you directly, but what kind of woman are you that as soon as I come, pick up a straw of grass and start staring at it,
Do you love the straw of grass more than Ram?
Hearing this question of Ravana, Mother Sita ji became completely silent and tears flowed from her eyes. The biggest reason for this was that when Shri Ram ji was married to Mother Sita ji, then Sita ji was given great respect. There was also home entry. There was a lot of celebration. According to the custom, when the new bride comes to her in-laws' house after marriage, then some sweet dish is made by her hand, so that sweetness remains in the house throughout her life.
That's why Mother Sita ji made Kheer at home with her own hands on that day and the whole family, including King Dasharatha and the three queens, four brothers and sage saints were also invited for the meal. Mother Sita started serving kheer to everyone, and as the meal was about to begin, there was a loud gust of wind. Everyone handled their own leaves, Sita ji was watching everything very carefully.
At the same time, a small grass straw fell on King Dasharatha's pudding, which Mother Sita saw. But now how to put your hand in kheer? This question has come. Mother Sita ji stared at that straw from afar and saw that it burnt down to become a small dot of ashes. Sita ji thought, 'It is good that no one has seen it. But King Dasharatha was seeing this miracle of Mother Sita. Still, Dashrath ji remained silent and reached his room and called Mother Sita.
Then he told Sitaji that I had seen your miracle during the meal today. You are the true mother of the world, but you must remember one thing for me. Don't ever look at your enemy with the way you saw that straw today. That is why whenever Ravana used to come in front of Mother Sita, she used to pick up the straw of that grass and remember the words of King Dasharatha.
