Due to Bhadra on Raksha Bandhan see the date |
According to the Vedic calendar, this year the full moon date of the month of Shravan will start from 11 am on August 30, 2023, while the Shravan Purnima date will end at 07:07 am on August 31. Due to the full moon date being two days, this time the festival of Rakshabandhan will be celebrated for 2 days. Bhadra's shadow will also remain on Raksha Bandhan. There is a difference of opinion regarding the date of Raksha Bandhan this year due to Bhadra.
How long will Bhadra's time be on Rakshabandhan: -
This year Rakshabandhan will be under the shadow of Bhadra. According to the Hindu Panchang, on August 30, Bhadra will start at 10.58 am. Which will remain till 09:01 in the night. This year Bhadra will reside on earth on the day of Raksha Bandhan, due to which tying Rakhi in Bhadra will not be auspicious. On the other hand, Shravan Purnima will end on August 31 at 07:07 am. In this way, Rakhi can be tied on August 30 before Bhadra starts in the morning, and on August 31, Rakhi can be tied before 07:07 in the morning.
Auspicious time According to the scriptures, it is auspicious to celebrate the festival of Raksha Bandhan on the full moon date of the month of Shravan and in the apahara period i.e. in the afternoon without Bhadra. But this year on August 30, Bhadra will remain for the whole day. It is inauspicious to tie Rakhi in Bhadra. In such a situation, Rakhi can be tied on August 30, 2023, after 09.03 minutes. On the other hand, on August 31, Rakhi can be tied before 07:00 in the morning.
