It is common for venomous snakes to emerge in rural areas or urban areas with rain. So there is always the danger of snakebite. To prevent snakebite, people of rural areas are using Gadhar plant for protection. Villager Vinod Kumar of Karmatand told that snakes do not come by planting Gadhar saplings in the houses. This plant is planted by people of Dhokhra, Pradhan Khanta, Sindri and other rural areas in the courtyards and gardens of their homes. Apart from this, people from urban areas buy from rural areas and put them in the balconies or gardens of their homes to prevent snakes from coming.

The best thing about planting this plant is that it does not require much care. It can be placed anywhere in the sun and shade. However, adding too much water can lead to spoilage. Watering once or twice a week is sufficient.
